Well thanks everybody! It really is special for me to get to know my grandchild. I made it over to CO for the birth but unfortunately had a bad cold, so I couldn't get close to either of my girls. I'll be stopping by for a couple of days on my way to Europe next week, though, so plan to make up for lost time, then.
All the best to all of you. May those of you who haven't yet experienced the joy of being a grandparent, or a parent for that matter, be as lucky as me!

They're as beautiful as you are. Congratulations! So....is being a parent or a grandparent better? Not a fair question, but I would imagine, being a parent, that being grandparent is the icing on the cake! Go spoil em both!
Peace
Ron

Again, thanks everyone. I wasn't sure I'd live to get to meet and greet my grandchild/children. With Valentina at least we'll have some time to get to know each other. Hopefully about 30 years or so!
