Aye, Cap'n, life is too short to waste on whine.
Besides, real Irishmen don't do whine or wine.

Small tittes, if well formed and perky, are just fine.....now the butt, that's where the sculpture becomes important.

That's just a dam good reason to crack open the Bulliet Bourbon!

I only wish the ladies shared the same sentiment for our parts. Har Har Har, or maybe sob sob sob!

One must enjoy proper wine etiquette, even when one is on the summit.

Pete,
Peirano Estate Petite Sirah- Is a nice wine. My sister-in-law pours for them sometimes. Peirano wines are usually a good deal. Living in a small town like Lodi you can not escape being connected to the wineries. Relatives, friends and neighbors all involved in the industry. Lodi is making some good Spanish styled wine now.

I did not know they charged there. Most places are free if you buy a bottle. I guess it would depend if she is working.

One more tough week gone by-----and I am going to avoid anything other than avoiding the sordid subject of why I am home drunk on Friday night and not out suffering in winter temps in the "greater-ranges"!

Sigh.

Heidi and I did a bunch of "spring-cleanup" on the ranchette today.

Beef Stroganof on rice for dinner with a little red wine.

Really "knew"?

Well, better a homonym than a homo - especially in MY portaledge, mate.

Cheers - the fat bitch is gone.

Starting the evening with a Chardonnay from Livermore, a truly great up-and-coming wine region! One expects that soon it will become bigger than its britches, like Temecula, where wine tastings at some places are $15! Five years ago most places were free. And Temecula wines aren't that great.

Now Livermore, they are doing things right there, especially in their Chards. Check out Wente if you get the opportunity. They make a superb syrah as well.

This Chard is from Conconnan, and at $3.99 a bottle from my Kentucky wine store, it contains many of the fine characteristics you would find in a much more expensive bottle. You know, one for six or eight bucks?

{wink}

Up here in the Great White North, we are enjoying our biggest dump of snow in probably five or six years. Two feet in the driveway today - woo-hoo! My dad and I are off to Killington, Vermont on Sunday for a father-son week of skiing. My dad turns 88 in a week. When I grow up, I want to be just like him!

MH2! Re your implied question about my previous post.

Byebye Donald. Good to see you banned.

Donald was the most recent trouble-maker to get banned on ST.

I have accused him of being a computer-program, but he may just have been an agent of the "IN YOUR FACE" -side of the Conservative side of the Conservative-Right.

I did not request that he be banned, but he deserved it for being an "IN-YOUR-FACE ARSE-HOLE.

Snowing today in Choss Creek, but the St. Michele Cab is good.
