"The alternative is setting the country back 40 years. Fight for climate change? Gone. EPA. Gone. Clean Air and Water Acts. Gone. LGBT rights. Gone. RvW. Gone. Person of color - want to see systematic racism in full swing? Yeah, Make America White Again. Racist White.

And that doesn't even mention a wrecked economy, massive jobs lost, a stock market that will tank, and WWIII."

More like setting the country back 40 years for the next 40 years given the supreme court is on the line.

WW3 is already in progress in Syria. Obama now wants to arm the Kurds despite embedding US soldiers with Turkeys forces who are also in Syria fighting the .... Kurds.

Bob, that's not exactly what I'm saying. What I will say is she is certainly knot a regressive.

Although she did call herself one once and since I read about it on the internet it must be true.

My point is that unless I'm missing something she's not about to undo all that President Obama has done. Much of it I regard as being progressive. But yeah, she's certainly no Ms. Warren or Senator Sanders.

Edit: Oh wait... my bad. I missed a the word "not" in your post. That said, I know she has progressive ideas. But Compared to the above two people I have a hard time calling her a true progressive. But I suppose that said, she's certainly dead set on moving our country forward (progressive) and not backwards (regressive) like Drumpf.

Clinton is a moderate. But she's still a liberal. You're right about her preserving Obama's accomplishments. And I'm guessing her initiatives will lean left or be neutral. She's pragmatic. She's got the experience and relationships to get her programs passed.

Having Donald Trump as her opponent has allowed her the luxury of playing hardball, without attacking the Republicans. She'll be able to use that as President.

From what I know about her is not what I hear from the media. Not stoked on the Iraq vote but what kills me about her is that she is in bed with Netanyahoo and Israel and that is a complete game changer for me. So, she is dead to me...people complain about Putin ain't as bad as Netanyahoo when it comes to the safety of the US, not eve... Of course, that is my opinion, but until we pull the billions we give to the richest terrorist state in the world we have no moral high-ground as well some of the bloodiest hands this planet has seen.

Fortune's latest issue had an article about what Clinton's election would do for the economy. The article's bottom line was that the economy would probably do OK because she was obviously lying during the primary. Now that's a real spin -- using a candidate's perceived untrustworthiness as an advantage.

Perhaps the most telling thing about this election, though, is that even on Super Topo, where Democrats (and those to their left) probably outnumber Republicans (and those to their right) at least ten-to-one, the thread on Trump gets all the comments, and that on Hillary Clinton gets buried.

Demonstrating the old adage that people can't look away from a train wreck--nothing more.

Oh... it's not just Killary.... If any of them want to keep their brains inside their skulls, they know to swear allegiance to Israel.

Ergo the murdering will continue unabated regardless of the puppet in chief.

They probably say that because historically the economy does better under Democrat administrations than Republican.

Please, that horse is well and truly whipped beyond all recognition. The
economy barely responds to the Fed any more, it's its own beast. In Europe
the ECB is completely out of ammo to the point of negative interest rates
and their economies are barely sputtering. Only major structural changes,
as if any of those are likely under either candidate, will give any meaningful
boost to the economy.
