Maybe because Hillary hasn't declared bankruptcy 5 times and used a non-profit to buy pictures of herself?

Straw man arguments sure are fun, aren't they?

If you want to talk intelligently about macroeconomics then you better raise
your game above the level of third grade insults. I'm quite certain you
don't know the difference between an IS-LM model and a Ford Impala, let alone
a DSGE model. You think the economy is going to go bonkers just because
Hillary gets elected? If so then start buying beachfront property in Kansas.

So Bush's policies had nothing to do with the 'crash'?

I'll debate economic knowledge with you any day of the week. That wasn't the topic however, hence my "straw man" comment. The statement that you were completely unresponsive to was that the economy does better under Democrats than Republicans.

Where do you get a Ford Impala these days, anyway?

The economy barely responds to the Fed any more...

Oh yeah? Just watch and see what happens when they raise the fed funds rate.

To be fair, before they were nuked the "ready for Donald " thread generated a lot more posts than the "ready for Hillary" thread.

I think Curt has the correct analysis. We can't take our eyes off a train wreck.

Funny how all vehicle brands and models are converging on the same generic designs just as we approach the dawn of autonomous driving.

Thanks, but that's the wrong one. I wanted the one Reilly was talking about--the Ford Impala :-)

Ford Impalas - they're a matter of simple economics...

I had a '63 - loved that car. Then I moved to Chicago where I parked it all week and took the CTA into the loop - could never remember where I parked it when the weekend came. Then one weekend I walk for like ten likely blocks looking for where I had parked it when I finally realized it was gone. Called the police and the guy says, "oh, they love those..." - sigh.

From what I know about her is not what I hear from the media. Not stoked on the Iraq vote but what kills me about her is that she is in bed with Netanyahoo and Israel and that is a complete game changer for me. So, she is dead to me...people complain about Putin ain't as bad as Netanyahoo when it comes to the safety of the US, not eve... Of course, that is my opinion, but until we pull the billions we give to the richest terrorist state in the world we have no moral high-ground as well some of the bloodiest hands this planet has seen.

she had to go along with the vote so she would look like she supported the war(but probably didn't)

I agree with about israel being the world's richest terrorists state.
Ever wondered why ISIS doesn't attack israel?

Are you really asking why ISIS doesn't attack Israel?

I'll give you a tip: Israel knows a thing or two about "shock and awe" and ain't afraid to follow through on it.

Which, for the record, if our chicken-shit president at the time had actually gone off the chain when he threatened to, I bet Israel would look pretty good to ISIS right now.

Yeah...what we really need is a return to a real shock & awe POTUS.

Trump will do just fine, won't he, Esco?

I doubt very seriously that Esco climbs, Locker.

And I call bullshit on his whole 'I like Johnson' shpiel. He's just saying that because it reinforces his whole being oppositional for the sake of opposition persona. When November 8 rolls around, he's gonna pull the lever for Trump.

Well since the pant-suit assassin is planning to raise the death tax to 65% of inherited property, there will be plenty of shock and awe to go around I suspect.

What possibly, could be the rationale for taking 65% of some families hard earned money?

I'm sure the statists on here think its a banner idea.

Well, having spent time with a couple of families where no one has had to work since the family made a killing on whale oil and rolled it into railroads, steel, electrification, aircraft manufacturing and apple I would say it would definitely be good to clean house at least every fifth generation. 65% seems more than reasonable.

Yea, it is a banner idea.

Better that a few rich descendants who didn't lift a finger to earn their inheritance pay taxes than working people.
