Tamara, nice scans! Great climbing content!
'56 names and correlating them to the Wolfe guide, etc would be fun.
Anyone going to make a list?

Tamara has found the often referenced, but until now unseen, 1956 Robbins guide to Joshua Tree. Just after a short examination, the very early history of several climbs in the Hidden Valley CG and Turtle Rock Area have come to light.
Very cool indeed.
