I couldn't tell you where it was even if I wanted to do so. Way out somewhere, petroglyphs galore. And a mortar with the pestle still in it.

There are still unknown places and objects out there.

A big Kat Box shout 'n bump, this is just about all I've gotNote-worthy? or not. . .

I was there, under the radar, hiding from the Toad Swine once he had arrived.
It was in the early to mid 80s.
I was short(still am)
Lynne's size;5'2.5", blond and very honed, like all the Cali. boyz.
anyone have any pictures of the Gnome in action from back in the day?

#11 does not look like Tony.
#10 the hair is combed/too straight, back and forearms different.

those do look like Frank Endo pants, Tony had a pair of red ones but i do not remember blue.

Tony's perhaps best known photo at JT was published in the 100th issue of Climbing Magazine, it featured his pumped vascular forearm, the caption read Tony Yaniro after doing Equinox.. one small detail was left out, it was Tony Yaniro after doing seven consecutive laps of Equinox.

Russ, thanks for those pics of the Fish in EB's.. brought back memories!! I have a pair of 43's if you need them!!

102°, but not bad in the shade. Alex on Trapeze.

Alex today on the left, some kid on the right from a far away time. haha Alex gets style points for no tape. But I only have one piece, and it's a hex. ;) Heck man, I couldn't afford no gear. If you look closely you'll see I couldn't afford shoes either. I had a mismatched pair of handmedowns (One RR, one Asolo, one size 9, one size 12, haha). I was glad to have them. Way better than the sneakers I was climbing in before them. :) I was tying webbing around my waste then, until I found the harness in the picture in a dumpster. It was pretty janky, but you know, whatev's. haha

Our very first climbing trip to Joshua Tree National Monument at the time and we pulled in at the crack of dawn right at Intersection Rock and piled out of the van. Making coffee and smoking ciggys as some blond haired guy walks right up to the rock we were having breakfast on and starts meticulously putting on his climbing shoes leaving his adidos sneakers with us. He starts going right up a crack just by us and we all stare in silence. As he gets higher and higher I tell my buddy it might be a good idea to go and get the first aid kit in case this guy decks. But he was so smooth!! Making it look like a casual outing. Later as he came back for his shoes we were all kinda dumbfounded and pretty much speechless. I managed to tell him that he was looking pretty good up there and he just looked at us as we all backed off and said 'That was nothing'
