Is it possible to be an obscure novelist and still have business cards?

Nice!
I just noticed that Hugh Burton's construction company phone # (he was at the top of the hill above Ken) is the phone number I was assigned last year in El Portal. Small world.

Whoot! How weird to see a card I designed (Blanchard's) from a LONG time ago. I did the logo when he was still in the Bay Area and then it was changed to the Mammoth phone. Cool stuff.

The late, great guitarist for Hot Rize, Charles Sawtelle

Cool thread.

Just reading Bellizzi's name sent an echo of that voice through my brain. LOL

Every once in a while I get a call from Bellizzi. I only need to hear the first breath of a syllable and I know who it is. We are doing an EC route together this Spring... should be entertaining.

I like Peter Croft's.

Jaybro...Do you have any completed obscure novels that aren't too obscure to find?

k-man, replace the word, "guy" with the correct word, "gal" (or girl, woman, babe... your choice) and have another look. Beauty is in the eye of the beHOLDER.

Yes, use "gal", k.

That gal is palming a huge ballsack.

Did Vladimir publish one of your articles in Hory magazine? He's a very good old friend of mine. Priceless thread. Thanks!

Hi Swill-

Yes, Vladimir translated and published one of my articles. I remember he was always sending intricate drawings of new types of hardware, odd looking camming devices and such. Very clever fellow.

cheers

The first time I meet Bob Kamps he had a business card that read:

BOB KAMPS ENTRECRAPEUR (sp) Phone Number

Bob told me he bought, sold and traded junk. The reality was he bought and sold just about everthing including fine collectables. He hardly was a junk dealer.

The first time I was invited to his house my expectations were a scene from "Sanford and Son". However, his home was a beautiful craftsman style home, absent of any clutter and decorated tastefully. So much for preconceived ideas.
