"A Brief History of Time," was a formative read for me as a teen.

His matter is now just a bit more chaotic. RIP

hey there, say, WyoRockMan... just saw this...

he was able to live a long, time, with this condition...
that was amazing:

from wikipedia...
After being diagnosed with motor neurone disease, Hawking fell into a depression though his doctors advised that he continue with his studies, he felt there was little point.[67] However, his disease progressed more slowly than doctors had predicted. Although Hawking had difficulty walking unsupported, and his speech was almost unintelligible, an initial diagnosis that he had only two years to live proved unfounded.

*learned a lot of his school years... was very interesting...

At the age of 22 Stephen Hawking was given only a few years to live after being diagnosed with a rare form of motor neurone disease.

I remember him as being a very passionate unbeliever, perhaps a hater although I can't say that with certainty.

At any rate, I guess he will figure it out now.....

Never liked him, though.

We all have it coming. But it's a sad day for the physics community. I bet his chair ends up in a museum.

RIP Mr. Hawking

I wish I had a buck for every time one of my students asked if I was related to you.
I'd tell them no,
we spell our names differently, that you are smarter than me, but I'm better looking. ;)

I'm sure he would,
he had a great sense of humor. :)

Farewell, sir.

Edit: I always wondered why he never changed his voice.

He might have been a reincarnation of Gallileo. Because the Catholic Church persecuted him in that life, it may explain his distaste for organized religion in this one.
