Awesome pics, I'm 90% sure that it looks like Shuteye Ridge or somewhere in Southern Yosemite. 100% sure it's California.

i believe the guy in the second frame in the 2nd set by himself is Doug Weins who used to manage the Robbins shop in Fresno. These pictures were from a company outing in the shuteye area and the Balls.

Tamara, Thanks for sharing these with us. They are fantastic.
Seventh picture down looks like pictures I have seen of Doug Robbinson.
I know that Royal was keen on the Southern Yosemite. And told me to check it out on many an occasion.

Ahhh... Simpler times. Those one-inch tubular webbing swami-belt rigs were great. Cost so little and protected just fine.
