I'll go with a tie between snowboarding and fishing.

Yeah Locker, I'm still bored giving standardized tests, but at least I don't know all the potential responses to this topic :)

I assume you mean beside climbing and The World's Most Pleasurable Activity.

For me, it's playing the piano.

An old cartoon had a climber talking to his girlfriend
She says "You like climbing better than me"
He replies "Yes, but I like you better than skiing"

For me these days, climbing/scrambling in the 'roots are my 2nd or 3rd favs. I can't seem to get enough mtb-motoTrials-trail time. The exploring of both the outdoors and my abilities is a lot like climbing to me....gotta bring yourself up to the task, no chipping or dogging! Although, some might say the use of a motor and/or wheels is akin to chipping/dogging and that's fine, we all have opinions. Variety in activities, views and 'place' in the free air is what drives my recreational pursuits; in reality, there is no 2nd or first for me, I am usually pretty focused on what I am doing at any given time. I feel pretty lucky to just have so much fun free time and thank the __ for that!!

Climbing is no longer my favorite thing to do. I don't even want to look at the things I do with that sense anymore. I just do things and try to enjoy them all and after I'm done, maybe I will compare it to another activity or not. So far this is working out well, but things like life are always changing.

Then I'll go to the range and have at it with my new Sig Sauer 10mm.

The next best thing to climbing (after sex) is a good bowel movement.
