You think ravikantraj is bad you should see what's going on over at the
Apple iPhone forums. So many people are bashing Apple for its lame release
of iOS 8 that the mods are playing whack-a-whiner. Since I bitched a couple
of times now when I click on a thread I am automatically signed out so that
I can't respond. I click back to the forum list and I am magically signed in!

I just walked by the Apple store in Boulder at lunch time today -- two lines out the door of people waiting to buy new IPhones. These people need real lives.

erret, Apple may have jerked 8.0.1 but they also should have jerked 8.0.0.
But they can't. Besides, this is just a plot to get people to think that
buying a new iPhone 6 will cure what ails them. Little do they know that
the new phones aren't working either. Small wonder that Apple stock tanked today.

Just the fact that Apple tried to put U2 on my phone is enough for me to never buy another apple!!!
I cannot stand U2, I don't care how much they like the best rock and roll band, or even if Joey Ramone was friends with Bono.

Reilly you should really know better than to be first to upgrade
I am totally shamed! I made the mistake of believing a Wall Street Journal
article saying how bitchin 8.0 was. I know, it didn't occur to me to think
about how much ad space Apple buys from the WSJ. DOH!

Why would anyone buy an iPhone ..Sure they once were by far the best but they have been relegated to mediocrity and overpriced for a couple years now.
I've been laughing at the new plus for weeks now.. it's about the same level tech as my old note 2 from 2 years ago.

I've been holding Apple stock since the 80s, betting on hope and prayer that they would eventually somehow give Microsoft a run for its money. It looked grim at times. All the while I was working with DOS/Windows PC machines, holding my nose, holding my stock.
Last year I finally switched teams and bought an iMac for home use.
And started selling my stock.

I am not very happy with my "new" iPhone 5s. The 4 worked a lot better till I swamped it in the lake, but it was heavy as hell too.

Since the OS update 2 days ago the copy function for text is totally shot on my iPad. It only copies blocks of text and is very hard to scale down to specific words or sentences---as it persists in snapping back to the block.
This is a major first-world pisser.
Also I don't know if I really like the tab and refresh header disappearing everytime you scroll up or down. This has made what use to be an easy 1 step function into 2 steps everytime you go to the header for a tab or to refresh. This is an additional step without really gaining anything in the process. Dumb.
