One member of a climbing team trying to free the Salathe Wall, pulled a rock loose from near Mammoth Terraces; the rock struck his climbing partner who was down-climbing toward Heart Ledge, and broke his foot. YOSAR came and got him! He should be fine! Excellent job, YOSAR! THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!

Does anyone have any more information or pictures of YOSAR's work up on the rock?

Well done YOSAR
It seems to me there are more rockfall accidents on ElCap these days. I doubt The Stone is changing much. Are climbers becoming less careful? Or just more of them?

^^ probably a bit of both in conjunction with the ability for working pukes such as ourselves being able to read about these things from the comfort of our desks, not just while perched around a campfire in C4...

It looks like the 'finger' in question is being directed at the photographer.

What's up with dude standing there with his hands in his pockets?
