Edit: great videos by the way. Steve B (yosemitesteve), who makes videos for the parks, said that a chest mount can get great climbing footage, but I haven't tried that yet.
I used Final Cut Pro, and the Twixtor plug-in for the super slow motion. They're both expensive and more complicated than I like, but a friend gave them to me for free.
Is there a correlation between jumping out of airplanes, climbing mountains, racing motorcycles, surfing, skiing, not looking both ways when you cross the street, whistling while standing on your back porch and getting hurt ?
Hmmmm, those cameras sure do behave suspiciously...
A great friend of mine wants to get a second Gopro to point backwards along with the forward one. He has more money than me so why not. Maybe he wants to catch my crashes!
I totally agree, I feel like a complete dork with my go pro out when climbing, but have a lot of fun watching and editing videos after the fact. Here's one from a weekend last fall in utah
