I have an ETD from NY to CA slated for November 1st and....about enough gas money to get me to New Jersey.
As some know, good old Swanky had to be put down recently, since he couldn't pass NY Inspection. Luckily, I did get a new van(still to be named) which is this:
Though I got a great deal, there went the gas money....
So....at $25 a chalkbag, I figure that if I can sell 40 of them, and have no breakdowns or other unfortunate incidents along the way, I'll make it.
Here are a few pictures of the current inventory:
I make these myself, and each one takes about 2 hours time. They are finished with hand stitching. If you would like more information on what makes my backs what they are, http://www.climbaddictdesigns.com/whats-so-great-about-climbaddict-chalkbags.html
You can see the lineup of available styles here: http://www.climbaddictdesigns.com/shop-chalkbags.html

Oops...I had put tags for the links and they weren't needed. Fixed it now - thanks for mentioning.

Like what I see, especially the double belt loops and the absence of webbing (current one has webbing loop as well as backing making it pretty stiff). Once I get home later and decide on a design i'll be ordering one, if my fiance is interested that might be two!

Silver -
I am pretty much wrapping up the sewing room today so adding a new pattern size is not possible( I barter space at another climber's home since my place is sans electricity), but it happens I just added two pieces of this style:
This is a regular-sized chalkbag, but a fun one, with the soft chenille fabric printed with monkeys.

Try the local gyms. Either the entire lot of 40 directly to them to sell out of their on site "pro shop", or get them to let you hang out in the lobby on a Tue/Thur night and hawk yer wares to the clientele. Doesn't that Chelsea piers place have like 8 million members there on a tue/thurs?

J.Haze - The ones in the current inventory page, at www.climbaddictdesigns.com/shop-chalkbags.html, are available.
Any others shown have probably been sold out. I buy very small yardages, and make only 2 or 3 bags from most of the materials. BUT - I will go through my "bag o bags" where the unfinished stock is, and see if I have deleted any images which I still have stock in. Will do that tomorrow and update the page to reflect it.
I also have pictures to take of one or two more pieces, which will also get done tomorrow.

Silver - I will work up the pattern over the weekend and see if I can't get it done on next Tuesday. That is "pack up the room" day but I can make the time to get one more bag done. It will be the same style - with brown velvet trim, but about 40% size as the usual ones are.

Would you be able to make a very light chalk bag by any chance? Your chalk bags look really pretty.

Nice van! I'm in for one of those Oriental Butterfly's, my niece is getting into climbing and she deserves some handmade quality gear.
