Gonna bump my own thread! Because I have caught up with sewing and....
Chalkbags make a good holiday gift for a climber... Not only in and of themselves, but you can use the bag as a "stocking"
Fill it with goodies and lay at the base of bed on XMas eve(That's that's what Santa used to do for ME! Not a chalkbag of course, but still - candy, sweets, mmm...memories)
Include a gift certificate for a membership at the local gym, access fund, or local gear shop
For guys who have girlfriends who climb just to be with them, and are ready to rope up in a bigger way.... placing the engagement ring in the chalkbag, and when they (disapointedly) say "gee, thanks..." go on to exclaim how soft and luxe the lining is! When they put their hand in(maybe with a look on their face that will make you hope to HELL they find the ring fast).... oh, how romantic!
Thanks to everyone who has supported the chalkbag gig in words as well as orders. As I said - I am caught up with sewing, and all open orders have been shipped. IF you have placed an order and have not gotten an email confirming that your order has been shipped - PLEASE let me know asap. I will find out what's what!

Here are those last two, finished up! The brown one, Indiana, has been spoken for in the Big Dipper size(as shown) and I am waiting confirmation from that person. But it is also available in the Small Dipper size.
The red one, Redrum, I have 2 pieces in Small Dipper, and one which is Long& Lean. I think it is just a little too slim to be a Big Dipper, but for most people, it will be plenty big. Long and Lean is good for those who like to stick their hands deep and get a full coat when dipping.
Updating the website now but for some reason the platform is balky on me...grrr.

So Lockers new business is Positive Resoles and Paint, Not PhotoShop, Pros.
Looks like Elvis is getting around Rich! Wonder if the Gunks will have the non-winter as last year, or get it's ass kicked in blizzards...Sunny and low 5's for tomorrow, not bad for middle of November!
Oh...and definitely can stand to sell some more chalkbags if anyone is still considering!
Rich - Locker was a professional photographer, BITD. He can't help himself. I wish his BITD wasn't SO far BITD, and we could see some of his images.
Locker - you MUST rememeber some of the mags/shoot descriptions on some...I am sure there are archives from some of the magazines which have an online version. Got links???

Hope it is serving you well, MisterE!
Today I am going to spend some time working on one or two pieces I found in the bag which are ones-of-kind and so haven't gotten pictures taken. No family obligation for me today, but I did miss out on a wonderful invitation from a friend due to my poor management skills.
Happy Thanksgiving to all in Supertopia!

I have to say, these chalkbags are sweet. The shock-cord on the draw-string is brilliant: super smooth to open and close, and my chalkbag is so soft! It feels like a little mini-hand-vacation every time I dip.
I have had various chalk-bags over the last 20 years, and this is one of the best! A++
Thanks, Terrie!
