We all climb, and we are all fun hogs.

What's the best peak you've summited?

Mine, unusually, is Katahdin. It's in a remote place with a great knife edge ridge.

I don't know. Each one is good when you are climbing it.
It's a toss up for me. I used to think Cathedral Peak. That last pitch(with the incredible exposure) is fantastic, but I really enjoyed the NW buttress on Tenaya, and the NW ridge on North Peak was hella fun.

torre trieste.
approach: awesome, you get the best view of the mountain.
routes: all are hard classic and long.
summit: no words.
descent: takes time, you get to see most of the mountains.
all in all a great peak to climb.

Done Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. Not so much into the big Mountains.

Snake Dike was good on Half Dome and Upper Cathedral Spire via The Regular Route has to be at the top of the list.

Cathedral for sure. I'm trying to complete the sierra peak baggers list right now and have slogged up many peaks. Cathedral is what started it all for me and has fueled my love for peaks.

Side note- The hulk sucks, I don't go into the backcountry to wait in line.

Mt Blanc, solo of Brenva spur (totally easy but spectacular) in Sept so I had the whole Italian side of the peak to myself almost the entire time. The place may be notoriously a zoo with the crowds, but it's a fantastic place to be with virtually no one else around.

That's interesting... Round Top was really my first Sierra Peak. Soloed the second class route back in my early backpacking days a gazillion years ago in the summer. The whole thing is pretty loose and in my ultra-n00b state I was rather sketched out., But it was nice being up there, on the remnants of a volcanic core! Love that area!

Best peak: not really climbing, but got up to about 16k on one of the ribs of Machupuchare. I was on a trek and pretty much stopped where the ultra hard core shepherds stop, Beautiful peak. Officially closed, at least then though I saw a couple of people heading in to climb it.
