Video of our One Day Ascent of the Regular Northwest Face on Half Dome

We recently climbed the Regular Northwest Face (RNWF) on Half Dome in a day (June 26). I made a video of our 17 hour ascent. What a great day in the mountain with my buddy Drew. Hopefully the video gives you a decent idea of what it is like on most of the pitches.

There were a couple of guys camping on the summit that came up the cables. With the recent rain (day before), there was water in many potholes and they had a filter. We were able to get some water from the summit! If it rained recently, bring some sort of way to clean the water in the potholes.

We brought 4 liters of water on the route.

to be fair, if you fix 20% of the route the day before the climb, you didn't do it in a day...

Congratulations, it's such a classic route.Brought back memories, I only wish HD existed in 1990.
