Hey Jesse, would be grand if you can make it. I think your crew is doing a great outreach job.

A favor:
IF it looks as like the Park will close Tioga pass, can you post it here? CalTrans doesn't post it on their site as you probably already know.

See you there (maybe)

another bump, since we are congratulating Doug over on the other thread. He is VERY enthusiastic about the show he has been able to put together; this might be the only chance anyone ever has to see it, so don't miss out!

Back to the front page with you!

Now hopefully there is a printable copy here somewhere of a poster I can put in a great spot for today, wish I'd thought of it sooner.

STANDING ROOM ONLY! Just got back home. A great show, a great effort by all. Good times on the Eastside! Many thanks to all that made this come together. Doug was there early.....

I just saw Satan walk by, wearing a parka.

While it was a good turn out, there were a lot of faces missing and that was a disappointment.
The coffee meeting this morning was a good one.

Basic subject was sh#t. Really.

POLL:
Part 1;
Sit? or Squat?

Part 2;
TP or NM? (natural materials)
and if TP, do you pack out?

oh man, I'm falling on my keyboard. Julia, this is the best splitter I've had in days. Thank you!

What I meant was Doug being early was like hell freezing over. Sorry I missed you there.

yo....great weekend. Not sure what faces were missing, we had 70 people volunteering on Sat morning at the Peabodies, about 135 people for the show on Sat night, and 30 for coffee and talk this morning. A lot of it was sh&^ talk, for sure....but not all. And it was important.

In the house on Saturday night...Allan Steck...Don Lauria....Doug Robinson....Allan Pietrasanta.....Lisa Rands. Probably some other badass mofos who I am forgetting.

More to follow, might have to be Tarbuster-style, drips and drabs as I get photos from other folk. I was a little too busy to take photos most of the weekend. But here is a little taste from Smoke's Rock Course on Friday...
