Tarbuster...Haven't seen the formation...Did have a Beck sighting several years ago at the nordic center at Tamarack..Dave was standing in front of the ski center ..Was picking my daughter up after ski practice so i didn't get a chance to catch up with him...Regretted that...

Alex Schmauss and Dennis Jensen put up a route there - right up the prow. Rated 5.10c, a dozen or so pitches. Called it the Shark.

MOUNTAIN 70 November/December 1979
In the Needles Matt Cox and Eric Johnson climbed Double Jeopardy (5.10d) a four pitch face route right of Pea Soup Route. The same pair also climbed Effigy (5.10b) a "great fist crack" on Warlock Needle.
In Fish Creek Canyon, near Devils Post Pile, Cox and Johnson climbed Trout Route (V/VI, 5.10, A3) on the right centre part of the wall.
