He's one hell of a resource, even if one opposes his position. A true credit to the climbing community.

I got the honor of speaking with Ed shortly after my brother was killed in a car crash. He was most kind and warm. And after seeing him here, and at a few memorials, I must add.... kind, warm and fuzzy.
Thank you for the kind and heart warming shares of your interaction with my brother.

Some people are just rocks of the community.

I number Ed among them.

I was at a University of California Regents meeting today. During a section on updates on the Labs activities, this popped up! A few of you may recognize some of the faces (and backs of heads) in the room. Just after I took this shot, Jerry Brown came back to the empty seat just below Ed's head.

A true credit to the climbing community.

A nice antidote to the dopey illiterate non-OW-phile folks in the climbing community, Ed is someone I might support for public office.

'Sides, somebody's got to make sense of the physical world.

Cheers to the good Dr!

Seems like Ed is looking more and more like that other physicist with time.

Come on up to the Trench and talk to us about the universe sometime Ed. We'll do some climbing too with my fellow Trenchmen.
