I got the honor of speaking with Ed shortly after my brother was killed in a car crash. He was most kind and warm. And after seeing him here, and at a few memorials, I must add.... kind, warm and fuzzy.
Thank you for the kind and heart warming shares of your interaction with my brother.

I was at a University of California Regents meeting today. During a section on updates on the Labs activities, this popped up! A few of you may recognize some of the faces (and backs of heads) in the room. Just after I took this shot, Jerry Brown came back to the empty seat just below Ed's head.

A nice antidote to the dopey illiterate non-OW-phile folks in the climbing community, Ed is someone I might support for public office.

hey there say, ed... for you and debbie... a very appreiated thank you, for the lovely rose card, of the new year! ...
reminds me of many things, from many gardens, and, of my mom, and all that
she taught me...
very nice, ed... thank you both!!!
say, hope you share some more neat stuff, soon, not only as to climbing,
but as to any neat stuff of the greatoutdoors... :)
