That would be great! I wouldn't mind a bit of info and history. It would be good to buy a copy of his books if he has any. Thanks.

Big Wall climber
Sedro Woolley, WA

I have been very active at Mt. Erie since moving to Sedro-Wooley in Oct. 2008. I started climbing there, Jan. 15th and have made about 24 trips since. I have climbed tons of routes and don't see that much loose rock, but Physco has a loose chunk, which is wedged pretty good on the first bulge!
I have attempted to give back and put up chains and quicklinks for many top anchors. The popular routes for sure, like False Impressions, Powerline Wall. I have the photo copied 2009 Kloke guide, which has given me some sense of the basic areas and main routes. Although I am still totally unsure where Tindall's Terror goes, I did a very thin variation to the right which was above a broken Madrona limb that was shaped like a spear! I kept imagining a Nowegian BBQ, with me on a stick! The first piece is a #0 Metolius TCU, then it is run out to a girth hitched flake. I usually finish on Scarface. Anyway the limb has been removed.
Good thread, I feel that Mt. Erie is overlooked by a lot of climbers, which may be a good thing?!

I would appreciate any info on Mt.Erie or Bat Caves,
Thor
