The only thing worse than sport climbs are whiny sports climbers.

It’s contagious. Now I can’t speak or type. It’s Donny, not Danny. For all you out there named Danny, I apologize for the slight. No offence intended.

Sport climbers rank down there with boulderers and slackliners. Get a job and buy some gear!

Hey Donny, I was just laughing because I met some 5.11 indoor sport climbers who couldn't lead 5.6 in the real world. Trad climbing involves some degree of risk. Some people are up for that, some not. Its not about being better. Lighten up.

Hey Donnie, there are morons everywhere you go...Get used to it my friend. Unfortunate for you though, ill have to include myself into your idea of a moron, because i am on the Trad guys side. Ive climbed some sport routes, but there just isnt anything like placing gear and being up on the big stone. Limiting yourself to nothing but sport climbing wont get you to the truly radical places on the earth...Youve pretty much limeted yourself to what you can climb. I on the other hand prefer trad, becuase the only limits are my abilities. The possibilities of the things i can climb are endless. If you want to limit yourself to plastic and overhanging sport routes, thats your call, but no way in hell am i going to place limits on myself like that.

dude thanks for not being an ass when you have somehting to say. My experience with trad was that it was not hard enough so I stick with sport.I was second a bunch of times in boulder canyon and I thought was all pretty easy even at 5.10 thats why Im not into it any more

Bro go to the Valley and you'll find out that trad is stiff.
I climbed that Sacker Crack once and it was totally burdensome, and I had redpointed 14a in France a couple months earlier. Kinda sucks to have to carry all the gear, and not just focus on the moves, but Yosemite 5.10 is heavy.

Donnie, you seem to be ripping into people for trashing sport climbers, but sounds more like your the one trashing trad climbers. In my opinion, there are only two types of climbers....Climbers and Sport climbers. You dont even need to add the Trad. Climbers climb because they enjoy it. It makes them feel good, It takes you to places where most dont get to go. Climbing makes an all around better person...Sport climbers on the other hand climb because they want to be good at something. Correction the best. They climb to show off their tallents (if you can call it that) and how hard they actually can climb. The good feeling comes from the fact that they are showing off their shirtless bodies to as many girls and guys that they can find...They constantly climb and look around to see who is watching them...To make sure that they are the top dog at the gym or the crag.

Climbers (TRAD) prefer to get away from the crowds of people and usually dont give a S#!T if anyone is watching them...They prefer to find a route that isnt congested in order to enjoy nature and enjoy the climb. When there are hords of people they usually turn and go somewhere else. Unlike the sport climbers who leave their quick draws on a route and piss on people who dont climb quite as well as they do.
