Sounds like it just became a tostada???

Not exactly.

You see this is my ten thousandth post on SuperTopo!

Ah yes, the rarefied air of those who have wasted their time on a truly monumental scale. lol
Its been an occasionally rocky ride, but I think overall thumbs up. It has led to finding old friends as well as new friendships, enlightenment, inspiration, and a laugh or three.

The people I have enjoyed conversing with here are wonderfully far more numerous than could be listed, but I just wanted to seize upon this milestone to proffer my heartfelt appreciation from a guy that shoots his mouth off.

But hey,... it's better than lurking.
Cheers

Y'all got nothing on Lynne who will pass five figures in the shortest amount of time.

Yo Lynnie, thanks for all that sunshine that you grace the Taco with.

I'm halfway there, but probably in half the time, which means I am just as much an internet time waster....

But since you noticed your 9,999th post, and rolled the odometer - you might as well keep on trucking and get the 10,001 out of the way!

Kinda like a happy birthday thread.... only different.

Did anyone else think Figures on a Landscape as you were clicking?

Ron, I've enjoyed reconnecting with you on the Taco. You're one of the denizens whose posts always surprise and usually delight.

And, believe it or not, I keep looking for that excuse to cruise by southern Utah.

Yes, DR. It was the play on words of the thread title (whataroute) that caught my attention. Then I saw it was Ron's. Figured it'd be worth it. LOL!

It also sort of sounds like an exotic version of Twister.

Cheers all,

not fair Pagan. I think that I have posted three times about climbing.
And DR, I wonder if you DID come through whether you could do another route to spawn threads with post counts that pretty much tally as much as my gun rants.LOL

But

OMG!!!!!

this is already 10,002

YAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKK !!!

Ain't this Taco Stand a hoot?

It allows guys who are ostensibly old enough to know better to talk like Valley Girls:

No Doug,
you're interpreting as a valley girl by placing the emphasis on the O.
Try it shaking your head slowly with a combination of mild contempt and resignation.

Nooooooooow you're sounding like we look. lol

Perhaps Ron should get a high-speed connection, to celebrate. Think of how much fun he'd have then!

I've been counting on my fingers (and toes).

I dunno Anders,

I would be impressed if I wasn't almost halfway there in two years, and over 10,000 posts on Cascadeclimbers.com before I "switched".

As it stands, I'm with ya!
