That might also encourage vomiting from the amateurs too tho, kev. Not good. Unless they're going to vomit in the Wels Fargo campsite. Then that's OK.

Randy,

Good point. Works with the pros too. I'll never forget betting on if DRC was going to fall down or not one night. Man did he get sick. Good thing he didn't recall it in the AM.

kev

PS We can slander DRC since he's in Peru or somewhere...You vic you out there??

I suspect that Scuffy, L, and I, well be on the sidelines. I think I can speak for all of us to say that we're not kissing anybody who does not at least floss, first.

Still working on casting for FaceLift Little Theatre. We seem to have a shortage of volunteer villains, and no one wants to be the Cowardly Lion. Information on the "If You Were One of the Seven Dwarfs, Which One Would You Be?" thread should help identify the dwarves, but there seems to be stiff competition for the positions of Snow White and the prince.

Serious Question: Chicken Skinner, is it illegal to have one toast to John B in C4 on Sunday, 9/20 at @ 7-9:30 with chips and salsa? If so I need to know and change direction. Peace, lynnie

Edit: This is a serious venture and perhaps Ken you and some others I get could say a few words about The Man, The Myth and The Legend.....:D

Nefarious ???

Ok. Just got word from Chicken Skinner that lynnies event is cleared for take off. I need chip and salsa donations. Shall I indeed start a separate thread ? Figuring @ 300 stellar dudettes and dudes for our "Event".

Lynne brings up a question I often wonder about... Is it actually legal to walk around in Yos with a beer in your hand? I do it all the time, we all do. Everyone does. However, when the tool is around, out of habit, more than anything I hide/ditch it. Anyone know the real story here?

And as far as a toast/drinking in your campsite (Camp4) yes, it is legal. Your campsite is your home.

edit: Just found this while doing some googling. Apparently, we're not the only ones who have tool issues!

In Yosemite, you can drink anywhere but a moving vehicle. When I lived there, I got in the habit of popping open a can of beer to walk to the store. The store which thoughtfully provided a bottle opener screwed to the front wall. I spent most of my tenure in the park in an alcoholic haze. Good times.

On the other hand, the rangers were fond of walking up to people's tents, demanding they take their empties to the recycling now, and then arresting the hapless park employee for drunk in public. And on special occaisions kicking the sh#t out of them. F*#kers.

I'm really going to try to bring some snapper or cod, tortillas, and TACO condiments.

I'm thinking 2 or 3 tomatoes (diced), 2 yellow onions (diced), salsa, and some kinda green sh#t too (maybe Spinach leaves) to add to the veggie intake.

Guacamole ain't gonna keep, although it may go with chips too!

Bluey's SuperTacos!!!!!111!!! (I'm open to suggestions on other SuperTaco condiments. Sour cream? Also won't keep, won't serve any other purpose).

Oh sh#t, I gotta bring fresh avocados!!!!!

Yeah, Ricky, it is pretty 'rich' in calories. I usually only make it on camping trips these days where it can rejuvenate a calorie depleted body.

Tastes really good, but ya gotta be careful with the frequency of consumption!

I'm hitting Shuteye this weekend, may be a good time to bust out the Carbonara on Friday night there. I hear some of the approaches can be somewhat long.
