Being frustrated with a lack of good online map of CA hot springs, I threw this map together this afternoon.
Data is from NOAA NGDC and is circa 1980. I casually compared 2 springs I know on the east side, and looks like the USGS lat/long give a few hundred meter resolution. Not too bad I guess.
If anybody is interested in updating the data, or otherwise improving the map, let me know.

What's the difference between the different colored dots? Fresh springs/hot springs/wild hot springs?

Color is a crude temperature scale. Red is 100F+ (38C+). Click the markers and it will give you the temps that were measured in 1980 when the database was created.

mrtropy your third photo from the first post is Mystic Hot Springs, Monroe, Utah. I was there in October, kind of a strange but cool spot.

Hey BVB,
That one in NV is on my friend's "Hot Springs Ranch" in Antelope Valley. Pretty sweet!
My wife and I visited Baja's Guadalupe Canyon a while back. Looks like the campground with hot tubs in every site is now for sale! LOTS of climbing potential in that canyon. http://www.guadalupe-canyon.com/index.html
