Thought I would post this link which has a section from last years Facelift near the end of the video. http://www.clifgreennotes.com/videos.php

We will be having a similar evening program this year but a little bigger.

Jeff - if the grilling thing starts to get too out of hand - you might want to consider having Meatfest be a catered affair.

The owner of Todds Cookhouse BBQ in Oakhurst does some damn fine vittles - owner/chef ran the restaurants at Disneyland for a number of years.

No grill, but I can bring some charcoal, for those who still use it.

If I remember rightly, there are some "fixed" BBQ grills at Yellow Pine. Two years ago, at the first FaceLift SushiFest, we got some charcoal and fired them up, for the non-fish eaters.

It's coming.....

Just read something about half dome slabs being a mess... any takers on clean of that area?

I may dread the hike out there to get the goods, but... I'd push myself to get it done!

Cheers all, and see you there.

Yes, I'd gladly go on some good hikes, and do some cleanup on the way, during the FaceLift. Maybe even Snake Hike...

NPS has suggested that bigger group dinners can be done at Sentinel Beach Picnic Area after normal hours so that impact in Yellow Pines is not so great. Of course, it would have to be cleaned up every night.

Camping is pretty much full in the Valley. I have a lot left in Tamarack Flat and looking into other alternatives. I have camping available for 500 this year including Tamarack. I am working on the shows and sponsors right now. Will let you know more later.
