Thanks for the tips guys. Just found out the wedding is on Oahu. At this point I am pretty sure I am gonna go, I just want to know if I should bother with climbing, or try something new! Sounds like Oahu has some good stuff if I can get someone to show me around. I have never been one to shy away from a bar tab, so any locals who know their stuff should help a brotha out.

BTW aguacaliente, the remark about hardly knowing/ caring about her brother was meant tongue and cheek. Her whole family is great, and I am extremely grateful to having even been invited!

Just go enjoy Hawaii, climbing can wait.
Go snorkeling at Sharks Cove or Haunauma Bay.
Have an umbrella drink at sunset.
Enjoy.

I live on maui, and go to O'ahu when I can to skydive. There is a climbing "wall" near the DZ that has quite a few bolted climbs. Largo knows of this. As well as Nohea.

And there is a local climbing club to contact.

All the time and effort in finding something to climb in Hawai'i you'd be better off sitting at the beach with a Mai Tai looking at bikini's and sun dresses.

Yea Mike and I are buds, copper dragon is pretty fun. So Dood shoot me an email if you are interested in hitting Moke for a day or part of one. I will be working until 4/29 then I will take a few months off. In May I will be on Oahu and need to get up to Moke more often.

Cheers,
wil
