South Central on Wash. Column, first pitch off Dinner ledge. Years ago I had to lead that pitch with a couple of bongs. I was thrashing and way out from that bolt and ready to just let go. I looked down and felt I might deck on Dinner, so I just used the bongs as chocks and grabbed them for holds. No style points, but it got me up the damn thing. That thing was rated 5.9+ and that's when I realized that I really suck on the wide, and let someone else do those pitches. whew.

Yo, I'm not into the non rock bongs, but even if I was, the ones I met in September had much more personality than crystal and foo-foo ones. Bet yo chose the pic not for the bongs. :D
