I didn't know a damn thing about climbing with ropes when I was there (1992), but I knew I wanted to climb it. Some day.
As for ratings, have a HEALTHY respect for what "5.10 scary" means. refer back to my thread "seki spanked me hard" about the "5.9" pitches of Piece de Resistance (was really 10aR/X)... we didn't even reach the "5.9 scary" part (is there a double-X?).

Yeah and lots of new route potential, get yer mule ride on. Bubbs Creek Wall seems to have a lot of untapped potential as well.
