The last time I had the priviledge to climb with Jim was in Joshua Tree. We did a puny little two pitch route called Black President.
It's funny how so much of my Josh climbing since then is all a blur, but that day remains in my memory crystal clear.

Just how did the rumor get started, anyway? That's what I would like to know. Was Bridwell sleeping and not moving for a period of ten minutes, thus sparking the alarm? They have monitors for that, you know.
