hey there lynne and all... as to where all the other gal-folks are, say:

say, i never quite know what is going on when i see these "i quit" threads...

i just study them a mite and at best, as i can't always see where the situation is that started them, i must wait til i have something to say that is constructive or helpful, is all....

perhaps i wait too long, though, not sure... but you all seem to be holding the fort of supertaco, as is it's norm... and i seem to have thought that all the folks here had a deep understanding as to how it is used to flowing... some rivers, like this one, one must forge, as is the current...

course, i do understand how at time some of the rapids can really upset a good float, too....

well, perhaps there will be a calm as this river nears one of the bends, and things will even out a bit, and then start up again on the next situation that arises....

i wish the best for all concerned, in all manners of how folks "float" or ride the rapids... and i respect you all for the various ways that you "do the ride"....

ps:
hope you are doing okay, there, t*r, gal...

Definitely not me.

I don't know jack about rafting.

The last time I tried to row a boat I just went completely around in circles. Merry had to row the boat otherwise we would have been "Lost at Sea".

Give me a break Lois! She does not need more hand holding and coddling. TR has been a plague to rockclimbing forums for years now and I think we all hope it stops. Ask around about why she isn't over at rockclimbing.com anymore. And now why she isn't posting here anymore. She loves to cry wolf (actually she loves to cry stalker) and I have serious doubts about all of it. Everytime she feels threatened it seems a mysterious stalker comes out of the wood work and now everyone feels sorry for her. Puuuhleeze......

And you want us to play nice and help her learn how to pack? How about we help her learn how to get a f**cking clue and to use COMMON SENSE! How many people do you know have to ask for help on how to freaking pack a god damn overnight bag???????

I have no problem with someone who has strong opinions and lets them be known. Look at Russ or Knott or Locker or dirt or etc... These people can be annoying (downright offensive sometimes) and have differing views but they also don't cry and whine when someone tells them to STFU. They deal and move on. It's about time for TR to do the same. And posting a "I quit" thread is the icing on the cake. Show some damn pride and self respect and just stop posting, you don't need to announce it.

hey there lynne... say, nice to see you tonight...
it seemed only proper after your question, that it was time to post in here... (hoped i had studied proper, too)...

hard to manuever, at times.. tricky waters, and all... but unique and good for inner-soul skills to become honed and useful...

i had been out at the store too, had to get gas for the car for work in the morning---i really needed to get cat litter for the cats, but it will wait one more day... too much money to spend all at once... :)

AND NOW... NOW... i am forging a river, here...

got to go finish a project, some gifts, so i have to leave the ol' river for perhaps, soon...

hey there lynnne.. say, thanks.. say, you would hardly be able to believe the long hard trail that hones these ol' feelings...

was NOT pretty... but was perhaps a good exercise in life, as all trails and trials are thus meant to be for...

that is the only way, too, that one finds the gold, is after digging through the hard rocky path way of life...

and... keeping a smile, of course... (otherwise it is fools' gold....)... not to be a good anchor, at all...

I believe I met you some 30 years ago neebee. You have a sister too?

I saw your brother Mark at El Cap bridge a couple of days ago with his wife. He said it's hot and went off to jump in the river .......
