LEB, In your asserting the presumed motivation for deleting you are taking someone else's inventory in an effort to malign them. Pretty childish.

Perhaps deleting a thread upsets you because someone took their ball away from you.

Delete all non climbing related threads. It got out of hand really, this was about climbing once upon a time. Now its very polical masterabatory. For those whom are understandably commited to a political forum start your own web site with a forum. The owners of this site have been clear do your rants elsewhere, just let me know where that is.

lolz, if you wanna see more climbing-related threads, then start one that peeps are gonna wanna post to -- otherwise stfu.

that being said, there is a monsterous load of white noise screwing up the signal these days. fewer gumbs that don't climb stepping in where they don't belong would sure help.

yeah, i'm talkin' to you, sukka. ftw, yo.

Emphatically concur with Russ and even more so with flashlight. It is annoying that a virtual non-climber would clutter the forum with mostly useless stuff. Who the hell cares if she used to fat or knott? [she'll go back, all fat chicks do]

So does that "bug" still exist, whereby if someone starts a new thread, but later deletes his original starting post, the whole thread is nuked? I thought that was de-bugged. Webmaster please advise. Or do we even have a webmaster?

Only delete threads where Russ shows dirty pictures. Imagine, if Palin's daughter happened to be lurking.

Ouch, those pictures are art. Art is not dirty.

(Unless it is a pinko cartoon, then I agree, delete.)

hey there.. say, leb/lois, not sure if this will help as to thoughts on the issue:
it seems like communication is like a stream, or a river... sometimes there are rapids and sometimes there is smooth-flowing... and sometimes one current is more mighty than another and one may pull under while one surfaces and then--reverse switch for position, due to rocks, bends, etc...

sometimes a "post"/"current" may drift to the side, or at other times, due to volital currents, one "post"/"current" may disappear and others surface and push for main-course....

all in all, it is still "the river" and "still moving"... let the river do its job, and we will find better peace as to what the river really is and what it means:

a flowing through life's lands...

(let it flow, leb, is what i reckon i am trying to say....and enjoy the river with the currents that you DO see now..... if needs be, and at proper times, the folks that posted will post again, and, others again will not = it is all in the "course of life" and where each folk feels they should be, or want to be, for the best, at any given time... each course of each river has its own major bed, and this one has its bed, and folks know how to do their "thing" as to their own personal current that makes the whole...)

well, hope that helps some... rivers are best when you dont mess with their landscaped natural beds... there is a reason--otherwise the overflow can be damaging to the river and the land round about...

*edit: also, too, as with rivers, on occasions there are huge rocks that one may not understand... some folks have a need to post rocks in the river-flows as well... if you dont understand the rocks (as on occasion i may not) just steer around the rocks... (as i am doing, right about now)... or, if it is a rock as to learning, (which some are) then, tackle those rocks with good learning and climbing skills, and you will get past them just fine...

Generally threads are deleted to make the op not be embarassed, as such, that's pretty chickenhsit. But, as has been noted, there are legitimite reason to put a pillow over a thread's mouth.
