upside down in a bottomless flask, i surmount the low pressure system and ride upwards on the moving fluid. as i change phase from solid to the other side of the mystery, i glimpse back across the sharp edge of control and i see...

my children back in reality crying on mom's shoulder. i extend myself to them in a manner seemingly invisible. hope and strength must flourish in their hearts. it will as i join them in their strides thru the tides of despair entangling hope.

together we will author an heroic celebration of the dance that remains.

I am sorry for Ric's family and friends in this sad time. Your Ric sounds like he was very well loved and a good person who will be missed every day by many.

A Goodness to have recovered the body...closure and finalilty can be made in the hearts and minds of those that loved him and called him dear.

Life, a thing to be lived. Can't lock our loved ones in a box, no matter what their age, to keep them safe. No what if's will do. People have set out over peaks in white out conditions and survived.

Love and Prayers to all you the Family and Friends.

Grief is a pool with no stream leading out of it. But when someone dips a cup into the pool, the pool lessens and with each cup the grief slowly ebbs away. Your grief will be in my heart for many months and my cup will be there.

Sincerely, your friend in Jesus, Lynne Leichtfuss
