hey, dee ee...don't know if your're still out there but BITD at Josh we were all out at a Huge orange wall....took about an hour hike out, easy approach to this huge wall.

Think Dan and Darryl N. were doing the far left route, and you were doing the huge wall...I thought it was called tangerine trip or something....off to your right that day someone was bolting in some serious stuff.

Does any of this ring a bell? I only remember thinking that your climb of the route was climbing ballet poetic clean and beautiful....and I of all should know...I prob watched more climbs climbed than most humans.

You were great to post this Todd Thread...TG...an incredible Hu-man. Lynne

Yeah, a moment later the Tool showed up. I was out of there! Then the Tool asked: "Why did he split"?

WTF, am I supposed to hang there and chat with Tooleena? I don't f**kin' think so!

Maybe we should have offered it some chub!

A CHUB is a fat hambuger. Also the one, five and ten pound chubs of ground beef, available at your local supermarket, but not the Indian Cove Store.

I've seen that crag, never walked over there though. We were usually making a beeline for Rattlesnake.
I better throwdown a couple more.

Todd got this classic roof pitch on the FA of the Pope. After turning the big roof on good varnished sandstone the rock turned to absolute choss (A4 old school). He ripped a couple pieces of junk and went for a nice airball. I think one of the pieces was a 10" nail and another was a 6 piton stack equalized to a two lobe cam. The second time up he made it stick.

One of those times in Zion. Hanging with Washoe and Jim Angione before and after some crag action. Must have been going to or from The Pole.
It must have been after The Pole as Todd looks relaxed. We did have a "Pole Party" at Todd's afterwards since we felt like gods.

DE:

Great pics. Keep that scanner humming.

BTW: Third photo down on post 45 ("2nd pitch across from Lemon Slicer") looks remarkably like the first pitch of Such A Savage.

I've only met Todd a few times. Gracious, outgoing, charming.
The second time I met Todd, he actually remembered me from our
previous meeting.
That counts for a lot in my book.
