Lynnie,
DO NOT take Russ too serious, he is at least in my opinion, serious when need be, but can be a funnier than hell, to keep this crazy life in prospective. When you meet him, he will be just like the rest of the Topo Taco's...friend for life probably, twisted but true, and "unique" in a way you'll NEVER forget. If you went to the bouldering contests, you probably know Fish, just don't remember. Maybe Dan was doin you a favor and kept you away from him and most of his Vato's. Russ is a one of kind, but kind of one!
Peace

Ron, I got in alot of trouble yesterday. I may get put on forum restriction again. At least until I learn not to take things too seriously. Oh my, Lynnie does blow it occasionally and when she does, she really does! Drat!

All, you are more than welcome to school me! I like you all and never mean to offend. Smile.

I do remember Fish. Didn't know he was Russ. These names are driving me crazy. I can barely remember a persons name in the first place and now you all have TWO. Good Grief. I'm going to start a ST name dictionary so I don't get in so much trouble.

Didn't Fish have really long hair at one point?

Flowing locks, envied by all women. A common dream by the fairer sex at the time was to stroke my mane and feed me grapes as I reclined in the sands of Joshua Tree.

Found the pic edit: Here is my sister... My hair was even prettier.

Radical, I do remember you. Did you make chalk bags or gear or something? You guys were pretty hardcore climbers BITD. I was a bit intimidated.

"Pretty darn intense! Who are you? Phone ST. Anyone recognize the problem?"

Lynne,

I have to agree BVB, I recognize several of the boulder problems from Magnolia aka Lakeside boulders. The photo above your qoute (overhang with crack), is near the top of the hill facing west. A couple of the other TR photos are near this problem. I have spent many of my afternoons there and always had a good time.

Anyone else agree the one judge on the right is Werner Landry?

Nice job on this post and the photos

F10-F11 Thanks for clearing up the area name for me. You said the magic word, Lakeside. I wasn't connecting with "Magnolia".

Yeah Lynn all the names confuse the hell outa me, I can barely remember my REAL name so I only have one on this forum. I think I dated Russ' sister! She gave it up pretty quickly, 1st, 2nd, 3rd base within the first pitch and then the summit was a grand slam. I think Fish actually had a cuter figure, for sure the hair was better on Russ. I remember Andre Olebre feeding fruit to the Fish.

Well, hehehe, I just dropped a bomb on Ed H's thread. Liven Friday up a bit.

Ron and Raydog you help make the world a better place. Say, I am on to the color photos and different areas as soon as I solve the tech prob. That being the computer digested and burped out the rest of the pics so I need to reload. Rats! But smiles anyway. Lynne
