I get the impression Peter does not believe this latest report on NPS technology.

How is it we have come to this sad state of affairs?

The first descent of El Cap- hate to say it but that's even less interesting than a political post.

Same final result. How can it be less interesting?

Do, your assignment was to go down to Patagonia for a month or few and come back with a frisky new attitude. What is this!! Johno just wants to play.

As an aside to the main course of titillating each other on this page, no one ever talks about the person, Tom Rohrer. What A Character.

Patagonia was great! Discovered a beautiful new area never visited before. Came back way too early- the Ice Park seems bleak, I'll improve my attitude after a visit to desert sandstone this weekend.

I am sure you will. That is one of your most favorite areas.

Peter:
I knew Jim when he was just a pup. Don't let the exterior fool you. Marshmellows on the inside.

Just a bit further I think. Not a whole lot.

You of course know the only thing more trustworthy than your memory is a politician.

I know I know. Love him too. He had dinner with Doug Robinson and I in SF back when he was out here doing an AAC thing in Berkeley. A great evening. I met him in 1971 in C4. Around when you were visiting too, John. When Richie Goldstone in all white of course was hanging with us too. Do you go even further back, as you say, when "he was a pup"?
