Scuffy. Amazing. You are a committed climber to build a machine like that one.

Hey!!! Is that the same pink monstrosity that I saw on the Weird Wednesday thread? That looks like something out of a deranged fairy tale! Who is in charge of stocking the shelves? There not doing a very good job. What kind of snaks and magazines do you carry? Hey, put the cookies and Playboys on top! Now focus, focus, focus! Yes, that's how G&E buffers train.

There was chips and salsa on the 1st shelf.

Trust me, you dont want to eat anything before you climb that thing. Some things are better done on an empty stomach.

It's the same device. The special features you suggested may have
a chance of working. If you check Grug's post, I think you'll
agree that he's almost ready to step into it. He may have to
circle it a few times. Maybe snort and paw up some dirt

Scuffy B. I did see that Grug used the interupted curse which clearly states something. Thank you for the interpretation.

Phantom, didn't that picture without the human look
somewhat reminiscent of a Venus Flytrap?

Yes. If you squint and use your imagination it looks exactly like, as you said a Venus Flytrap.

Well, maybe it's better that it really doesn't look that way.
Don't want to raise suspicions too early.

Upon closer examination I see that this device is in no way any sort of a trap.

One way or another I'm heading down, tomorrow 4/7, assuming that's still cool with Scuffy.

Anyone else? Spyork, I know you're hitchhiking, and I'll watch for you.

So when is the next Soquel Wide?

I'm almost healed enough from my last encounter with Scuffy's Monster (what was it, a year ago?) for another go...

(uh-oh... Did I say that out loud?)
