Thanks a lot for the TR and pictures! I've been wanting to do this route for a while and now want to do it even more.

Sweet.

I always thought 'Silent Line' was one of the best, uncrowded, obscure 5.10 A1, grade V, climbs in the valley.

A great climb and a great TR, thanks for sharing. Nice photos.

Just did the Original route, the large flake at the Bivy ledge is pretty loose (expanding) but not fractured. The belly crawl pitch (6) involved some of the most acrobatic leading and cleaning I have ever seen or done, watch the edges on the inside of the chokstone as they are super sharp, we taped one edge but a re-direct would be the best bet for the cleaner, not so great for the leader.

A very burly and scenic route!

Nice TR Eric, got to see the remnants of that trundle! Thanks for that.

fun stuff. at an unrelated location, i remember dropping down 6-8' to shove a big block off a factured dirty ledge. the first impact bounced off the toe of the mess and it started to crumble from the bottom up. vaulted back to the top and felt a little queezy looking down at where that ledge had been. changed the nature of the game for me, though it sure looks like you made the world a better place

Can't climb Yosemite 5.10? Pussy! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!

But, wow! Another great post I missed the first time round. I'm reading it and rooting for you: "Trundle the block, dudes. Send it! Make that f*#ker fly!" Glad and relieved you did. Looks like a beauty route, and thanks for the stellar beta on the route and the approach.

Just hung out with Erik in the Meadows this aft, doin' the El Cap Lieback. Evidently he is in training, as he twice refused our offer of a King Cobra. [Tom Evans wouldn't have, would you, Tom?]

Thanks for a fun time this aft, Erik.

Cheers,
Pete [and Scott]
