Yeah, he didn't land it. I should find the photo of him wallowing in the snow after his beautiful fall. :-)

hungry man,

Is that Wawona dome?
There's a detached arrow on the right side few know about.
If I remember right the last 60' or 70' was this awesome offwidth.

Great shot.

Yeah, that's Wawona Dome. I love it up there.
Do you mean the chunky darker stuff just to the right of the
big overhang, like in the shadow? or is it on the actual face?
That sounds rad.

Cool Andy. I was there after spending a week hucking waterfalls a little further north. My buddy and I probably found just about every way possible to miss a bus there. The local accent was pretty hard for us to understand. Of course, neither one of us spoke more than bar Spanish anyway.

Takeout at the Santa Maria:

Nice. I had never heard of the place, but I was in the area on my way home from Panama and stopped in for a visit. Have you run a lot of whitewater down there? I've been tossing around the idea of running the Usumacinta river down on the mexico guatemala river in my 16' oar rig.

I didn't ride buses down there, but I found more than a few ways to get lost driving around that area between Papantla and Poza Rica. Not many road signs, so its a lot of dead reckoning navigation.

hungry,

Way around to the right.
Next time you walk out to swinging bridge from the SDA camp, keep your eye on the right side of the dome, the arrow will come into view.

I remember this canyon to the left of the arrow that had some steep splitter cracks in it. I just never got around to checking it out.

I posted this one in another thread but I never got an answer about the story behind the statue. It's at Mt Arapiles in OZ. Anyone?

Yeah, here is one from today and some more to salivate over.

New Routing on Parking Lot Wall.

Lament No More, Blackfoot Dome.

Hard Rok on the Afterburner pitch on Flathead Buttress.

The Thin Red Line Buttress. 4 pitch climb on 20-30ft wide south face. Crux 5.11+ pitch goes through a finger-ish crack through the small roof and buldge.
