A few more...

I couldn't even tell you at this point... I know it's at my friend Sean's place, on Millerton Lake. Some sort of flower, obviously.

This one is from `06. Marisa Brilts meditating in Death Valley

What's a random image thread without a random image of the moon?

It's amazing how less-detailed and washed out prints appear online, versus on my calibrated screen or in print form...

I thought I'd give you-all the bird.

I was mowing the lawn last summer when I found this black capped chickadee that was in some long wet grass and not looking so good. So picked him up and carried him towards the house. It seemed to warm up and dry off enough and ended up flying off.

In the Nefarious moon shoot photo you see a nice luminous moon.

How come when they brought back the moon rocks from Apollo, they don't become luminous when brought to sunlight or any light?

OK. . . is it just me. . . or does pud's post do TRIPPY things to your sight?

If I stare at the black cross in the center the dots turn from purple to GREEN. . . then. . . one at a time they completely vanish.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee. . . I can see why they'd make L barfy.

actually eKat, it is an interesting demonstration of the inverse color of the purple (or what ever that color is) dots in you persistent vision. The green non-dot is the color complement. It is why your picture is so wonderfully pleasing to look at, the kayak color is probably nearly inverse of the background colors, giving a very strong color-contrast. The way we process visual information likes high contrast with wide tonal ranges...

...so you can barf, but it is strangely compelling to watch the dots go around... just look that wonderful kayak scene instead.
