Poor Liverpool, I do feel for them, but they will have Crystal nightmares
for a long time. I really don't see them unseating City next year without some
major changes. City are just so balanced and they do seem to have the chemistry.
And a +64 goal differential? Whoa! That Nasri isn't far behind Messi IMHO.

A bump of sorts and to remind those not paying attention, from: http://www.channelguidemagblog.com/index.php/2014/05/15/arsenal-vs-hull-city-fa-cup-final-2014-fox/

The Barclays Premier League FA Cup Final airs on U.S. broadcast TV for only the second time as Arsenal takes on Hull City in London’s Wembley Stadium Saturday, May 17, on FOX.

oops I was off by an hour
That's apparently 9AM West Coast time tomorrow.

First World Problems....

So, a while ago I'm thinking I'm alright with my soccer fix: I find a spot where I can watch with some routine then the video rights get f*#ked and I get sh#t out of the deal, but I only find this out once I've paid for a season of viewing...

This Just In mentioned NBC - I check out the NBC website to find I can get access to the EPL today.... I read this bit of news today and thought about the time I've been spent trying to find access - Sky's blue again
After 25 lead changes, Man City won the most chaotic and entertaining Premier League season ever.

I wished I could have seen some of the chaos and all of the entertainment...

As of today my sky 's are a little bluer now that I can continue my ridiculous soccer fix.

Hey, supertopo... where are you watching the World Cup?

I'm thinking of taking the month off to stay home just to watch... Not sure about the next one I'll see.

Make that Fox HD! Just hope Bill O'Reilly isn't working the game.
Atletico only gave up 26 goals in 38 games! Ronaldo is still a maybe but pretty
sure it would take a broken leg. However, he might well consider the World Cup
more important than this title. Costa is more iffy.

LA Times has been running great stories every day for a good week now. I was
impressed with the one on Ronaldo's many charitable donations of time and money.
Apparently he still remembers growing up poor.

There was also an interesting one on all the great players who either never even got
to play in the World Cup or win it. To my mind the most baffling was Cruyff's retirement
just month's before the '78 Cup. He cited the kidnap attempt on his family in Barcelona
the year before but you would think the Dutch could have managed to protect them for
the bloody World Cup!

Whoa! It's FOOTBALL TIME!

I'm predicting 1 - 1 with Athletico taking it in penalties...although I want Real to win. Should be quite a battle!

Gareth Bale! What the hell is it with Brits and big games?

Hay, Iker, how you say at sixes and sevens? Ho, man! That was weak!

It just seems that Atletico wants it more.

DiMaria was man of the match, with the obvious nod to Ramos.
What a run he made to serve Bale!
