Sweet. I'll make sure my sushi knifes are extra sharp. The bitch deserves nothing less than a sharp yanagiba poked in her....

eye.

Sushi or not, I'm in!

But the sushi will make it all the better for us Tacos.
Ummmm...Uni Taco.... (actually, that's starting to sound
a little off topic).

I'm wondering if we can get the group camp for a few days, you
know, like if we paid something for it. One night might not do
the trick (but it's sure a good start!).

Hi Mighty Hiker,
Is there a reason you wanted to have a big party during the middle of the week? Friday or Sturday nights might be easier for a lot of us to attend. Just wondering. I havn't figured out if I can make it.
Thanks for trying to organize us.

There are several reasons why Ken and I thought the 25th might work well. The main one is that there will be special events every other night of the Facelift. Speakers, food, drink, prizes etc. No competition on the 25th. Also, there's definitely large group camping at Yellow Pines available that night, but possibly not, or at least not to the same extent, later in the week.

Having it on the 25th also encourages people to come for all of the Facelift. (I think and hope...)

For those of us from far away, it may make less difference. I'll probably take a week off, anyway, and may already be in the Valley. Unfortunately, not so convenient for those who can't take time off during the week, or holiday time. Hence the idea of a Sunday morning something or other. Then, if a group comes up from the Bay area or such, we can still do something, especially for those who can't make the 25th.

Perhaps there'll be a church group breakfast somewhere in the Valley that morning, that we can visit? Largo could provide tips on etiquette...

beginning in august i will have class on tuesday and thursday evenings. depending on what is happening at work, i can come early on friday morning and stay for the weekend. alternatively, i can come out for the day on wednesday. i'm not too far away. ideally, i could come out wednesday, go back for school on thursday, and then coem back on friday morning and return monday or tuesday afternoon, if anyone could carpool from sac / foothills on those days. otherwise i will just make one trip. does that make sense? i could do both if for one trip i can carpool or else all that driving would make me feel too guilty. dang, i must really want to go or my brain wouldn't be working so hard to figure out how to spend as much time w/u guys cleaning up as possible AND not skip class.

i wanted to go to the half dome anniversary tomorrow but i couldn't find anyone to cover my shift on a saturday and i would feel too guilty calling in sick.

i luv u peeps!
