Do it Jaybro, that'll leave me off the hook. I could easily fail on my entire to do list as it is (but that's what makes it adventure).

Bob D' I'm honored. Though that would be a rare treat, after deliberation I'm going to have to beg off. I've got an agenda en route, live at sea level and am not currently long route optimized.
I want to some time into seeing if I can still get up some short wide stuff. Those torpedo tubes are there, though.

I'll be on the lookout for those montuckin's though.

Scuff, I've got some #101 beans and a grinder.

Jay...ok.

There is something about climbing semi-wide cracks at 13,000 feet. Road Warrior is a good example.

If you want to get out for a day of cragging in Boulder Canyon or Eldo...let me know.

My boyfriend is currently in the Tetons, and probably going to swing by Vedauwoo on his way home this weekend. So if any of you folks see a crazy haired guy climbing with a skinny long-haired guy and talking like their harnesses are too tight (That's right!!) then be nice to them.

Or maybe hit them for me, because I'm jealous, stuck back in NYC.

Folks, I'm at a Leadville Trail 100 aid station on Saturday, and a wedding in Boulder on Sunday, and I can't make it. I am bummed. If anyone will be staying later, or arriving earlier, please let me know.

Realmojede reminded me of our upcoming wedding anniversary (which falls during Boogaloo). She would let me go, but I want to keep things good on the homefront. The Kingsbury Brothers are out there representing Montucky, and I'm sure that they will fill me in on all the merriment and climbing that happened at Vedauwoo.

Have fun, y'all.

Unless someone is up for a Thurs-Sat. and wants to share the ride, I don't think I'm in for this one.

Have fun though!

Drive to CA to drive to WY or just to climb here? If you drive to CA, I'll definately go climb w/ you!

Edit...to be clear about the carpool thing...it's that I need to be back on Saturday night (early Sun. a.m.). I don't want to drive all that way by myself for something that won't really be going on while I can be there.

Folks will have polished off 3 marathons by the time they get to me. In the early evening, they look pretty good, but as the night wears on the carnage builds. It's the long dark night of the sole in there.

So would I rather be grovelling up some crystal-studded flare?
Actually, yes, but one gets into these situations through previous commitments like marriage. Whattya gonna do.

Hey Rhodo,

Speaking of OB folks, Billy Roos spent a lot of time up in the Leadville area leading trips. One year as a side gig he had me up on Hope Pass with him, taking pictures of all the Leadville 100 contestants. Everybody looks pretty shagged coming back up over the past after the turnaround point down below.
