Here are a couple more shots of Cowpoke's hero at a crag you all know.

(That 2002 note's a blast from the past, eh?)

for museum's shot, I'm guessing the voo...that picnic table (great spot for doggie to find shade and still see her owners) looks like the one below fall wall .

Great thread! Here's my hero giving solid water a go for the first time.

And if you name a boat after your hero, make sure she catches the first fish.

Three cheers for the gal who gets all four of our family votes for best hero on the planet.

Leslie rocks.

Our 9-yr-old had an epic, scary winter of illness, but there was one bright light shining through it all: Tessa's smiles and laughter when reading Leslie's daily emails and just-the-right-kind-of-gifts. She could have done 1/10th of what she did and STILL been a great friend. We are convinced that Leslie's love kicked the ass of an illness that doctors could not solve.

Many think and talk about doing the right stuff in life, but Leslie does it.

Yep. Leslie rocks.

and, yep. She deserves it.

edit: and, dang, looking at that second pic, I gotta say: Larry you married up, dude. smartest thing you ever did, smart guy.

Congrats, Chiloe! It is truly a blessing when you know that you have found the right soul mate and wouldn't do anything different to change that.

My hero is a superb mother, a long-suffering wife, and the absolute apple of my eye.

Many people think she may be legally blind, because she keeps getting photographed with me... She's not of course, but it would explain a lot, no?

She is also an elk whisperer. I tried to find out what she was telling them, but she wasn't talking.

Fortunately, I can still say "Hey, look at this," and she looks at that.

Jeez Chiloe...what is it with that Leslie of yours? Doesn't the woman believe in aging like the rest of us????? ;-)

Skol, Chiloe! I'll join this toast.

After a year of post-concussive syndrome that resulted from a six-car pileup on the interstate, my superhero:

She's rebounded with 6 days of climbing in the last 2 1/2 weeks -- her first climbing, or any physical activity, since the week before the accident.

Wow, we've got some stories to trade next month by the sea. Nice peaceful pic there.
