Geez Jim, that was the hardest laugh I'd had this year.
Look at that rack! And the grin!

That's a pretty minimalist rack, donini, but I'm stoked to use my new long runners on a climb named Jim

This probably doesn't belong here, but I just sent this photo off to Jimmie Dunn, who was in the Valley at that time.
. Some of you might recognize the characters--Camp 4 circa 1973. Henry had just soloed the Steck-Salathe. Sorry for the crappy photo.

Looking good Cragman. Maybe I should say "congratulations" (either for getting married or managing to stay married). Here's me back in '95 looking a bit more fit than I do these days, hanging out with the my bride to be.

Edit: Jaybro, you're looking like John Hartford when he did "Steam Powered Aereo-Plain"!

A Mark Mason shot of me starting the first lead of Slickrock, near McCall, Idaho in 2015. Nine leads, some runout fun, and a Donini blue Camalot belay, backed up by a jammed-binner. I had not led a 5.8 in 15 years, but the well-bolted 5.8 felt much-better than the 70' runouts on 5.5-5.6.
Great fun.
