Lizzy, He loved the last one, gave it to him in the hospital. Going out this weekend to see him, if I get the card, my honor to deliver it. Jim's words, "she is such a sweetheart!"

I'd love to get Werner and Jim together here....a book of words and classic "tales". Maybe I can coax Jim to share a tale or two as a thanks to everyones generosity.
Peace

Just received a message that Jim was sent back to ER after spitting up blood. That's all I heard. No details. Anyone out there have specifics? This was a message from Layton.

Someone showed me a picture and I just laughed
Dignity never been photographed
I went into the red, went into the black
Into the valley of dry bone dreams
So many roads, so much at stake
Too many dead ends, I'm at the edge of the lake
Sometimes I wonder what it's gonna take
To find dignity

hey there say, ron... i missed the mailman, yesterday, he snuck in
early... it was supposed to go out...

it went out today, instead, :(
to you...

thus, who knows, it might get there in time, but, it takes
almost five days from calif, to here...

however, it make it sooner, to you...
we shall see...

hope so... maybe even sat, before you go... :)

note: oh no... just saw the 'spitting blood'
will be praying, tonight, then... :(

Just added another $25. Meager but I gotta try. Cheers yall!

Edit to add: Layton, if you read this, tell Jim hello from Pierce Adams. I was one of the guys that bought him a beer at the Buen Tiempo in Ouray on Saturday night of the 2013 Ice Fest. He was very gracious. Some of the people he was with were trying to push my friend and I out (understandably, we were hammered and they were eating dinner) but he brushed them off an was very engaging. We talked about how the music in climbing videos sucks these days and it's turning into a damn yuppie sport. Got to meet my hero.
Hope you guys reach your goal.

I’m an absolute nobody but Jim treated me like a friend when he taught me both Rock and Ice climbing on several adventures (to me, cake walks to him) in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.
Thanks, Jim for giving me a new sport and a new way to look at the world! Roy Lenzo [photoid=523785]

Glad I got to spend a bunch of time with Jim this last month....and over this last decade...and since I first meet jim in 1974 when I was 19 years old. He was a great friend to me, and me to him. Lots of fun, wild, weird, interesting, meaningful, times spent with Jim. Lots of love going out to Peggy, Layton, and grandma. Love the Bridwells.
