UPDATE:

Josie and I spent all night with Quinn in the ICU. She’s awake and finally being allowed to drink so she is super excited about that as it had been over 24 hours without anything but IV fluids and mouth swabs.

Her plan of care remains extremely complicated and as of yet fully undetermined.

She has requested ‘fingers crossed’ for her recovery and also jokes. She wants to laugh. So, send your best, SuperTacoans.

We will be getting a Caring Bridge website up for more complete updates once I can get my computer to work. Those of you that know me on FB can write Quinn a letter there (or post here) and Josie and I will read them to her until the CB site goes up. We might not be able to respond to everyone because duh, Quinn is f*#king awesome and so very many people love her. But we will be sure your jokes, message and well wishes get to her.

Thanks, Team.

That must have been pretty f*#king wild whipping while running out the boot. Many of us have thought about it while looking down at that loop of slack. I'm happy you have good friends at the bedside, and many more who are going to help in the days to come.

Quinn,

I only met you once, but you were funny and strong then, with rad friends, so I know you'll get through.

Hey, Quinn, not everybody knows how much it blows to go from ultimate freedom to being busted up and in the system. But some of us do! You lucked out, because you're reading this – a gift in itself. May the gifts of healing and milestones continue to come your way. Power on!

Thanks for the update, velvet.

Why did the chicken do the King Swing?

Because it takes freak'n forever to peck free holds in granite with a beak.

Yep awful! :)
Hope for a good recovery Quinn!

Have not had the pleasure of meeting Quinn, but I know Josie from years ago, lots of shenanigans at Sanctuary Rock Gym. Someone give her a big hug from me as I have not seen her in years(last time maybe Pinnacles)! and strong thoughts and energy for Quinn on a quick recovery, that is a hell of a fall to survive, one strong as hell human!

A G-Rated joke:
What do you call a bear with no teeth?

 A gummy bear!

A not-so-G-rated joke:
Did you hear about the guy with five penises?

His pants fit like a glove!

I second Werner's observation. You must be needed/wanted on this earth still. Get well fast! -Jason
