On Thursday in City of Rocks, it was supposed to be in the 70s but the wind was blowing and it was icy climbing in the shade. We moved to the sun. The next day, on my was home, I pulled into St George, and the temp indicator on my car read 114. But it's a dry heat.
Seriously, I have been way more miserable in South Carolina in 90 degree heat than I was yesterday in St. George!

for those that flunked high school,
the top 2 numbers are for 6 months
while the bottom 2 numbers are for 12 months

And 95% of those fires were started by humans.

We have even cooler weather down here...102, heading to 104.

I just spent several minutes out in the wind. Is there a corresponding factor to wind CHILL, cuz this wind's like REALLY HOT with a punch like Rocky Balboa. The YOUNG ROCKY, Rocky I.

Looks good from here, Tad. Don't forget the sunscreen.

Low 70s here in SF. As long as I keep my speed up, I don't need a jacket for the bike ride home from work, when the fog starts rolling in.

71.4 on my covered patio right now, with the sun starting to burn through the clouds here in Pdx. Could make it into the mid to upper 70's before the day is over. Whew! Good thing I have central air!
