Drive-by.
Drive-over.
Drive-through.

I'm not counting the drive-under. Quadfecta has a disquieting sound, almost as bad as salsiccia.

Jim & Angela Donini & I discovered the ghost farming town of Flora on Thursday after floating the Grand Ronde river. We first enjoyed a 16 mile series of steep gravel road switchbacks up to Flora & the Wallowa plateau.

Flora reposes gracefully in a remote area of NE Oregon. The community was named after the daughter of the first postmaster, A. D. Buzzard. The Flora post office operated from 1890–1966. By 1910, it had a population of 200 residents and an eight-room school. It is considered "the most substantial town to fail" in the Northeast Oregon region

Donini took the last 2 photos, as we cruised the dusty streets of Flora.

The "full meal deal" in Uzbekistan. Horses, donkeys, sheep and goats all blocking the road! Luckily we were not in any hurry.
