He posted a naked picture of Locker. And as you can imagine it wasn't pretty. ;) Joking, joking.... no one would ever want to see Locker naked.

If this was a real campfire then a few loudmouths would have gotten humiliated and thrown in the river. But instead they hide in their caves surrounded by guns and fancy imaginings and hurl fear-filled insults at the humanity that feeds them.

You've missed nothing but tantrums, eKat.

Tangible evidence PS is still in good with the boss.

In other words, PS is 184% above normal for weeping and moaning but remains in drought stage.

Patrick was here a long time. Lame.

The lack of empathy around here is stunning. Mouse, you should know a thing or two about empathy.

I asked ChrisMac to delete my account, my profile, because truthfully, I cannot see what positive climbing posts at this date I can contribute to. But down the road, once I get my sh#t together, I will post again, climbing stuff.

Banning is a different animal... His account was deactivated.

Survival, of course I empathize.

If I seem to be coarse in my attitude and it offended you, or others, I apologize.

Thanks for calling me on it.

And thanks for the explication, Russ.

I'm sorry he's in such a down state, too.

There.

Banning is better than Beaumont cause its view of San Jacinto is better.

I wish he wouldn't have gone through with that.
I kinda thought he was equivocating about asking for the axe.
I hope he comes back.

I seem to remember some other people checking out of this little campfire...they cited that the sometimes nasty feedback didn't help their depression. Hard not to take the electrons on a screen with a grain of salt when you're severely depressed. Best of luck to Patrick Sawyer, I say. Hope it works out for ya.

He was a well meaning, but classic case of neurotic overshares. Between hearing about his real-time threats of suicide, his alcoholism, his "great love" who wants nothing to do with him, mental degenerative disease or not. While we only hear his side it's pretty clear that the nursing home is representing HER interests, not his, just as they should. Why anyone would think it was appropriate to share all these things is not for me to judge, but I do question the same old record which played over, and over, and over, ad nauseam.

It just makes me uncomfortable when people slide into mental disambiguation before our very eyes.

Sorry, I had decided to get stay out it.

But I will repeat, the love of his life has dementia, so trying to draw conclusions from her mental state is meaningless. Patrick took care of her and kept her out of a facility for a long time, till he was not allowed to, at great sacrifice. Some of you guys will be lucky to have someone like Patrick in the end.

I extended a hand to Patrick. I contacted him privately telling my tale of my father living in an assisted living facility for 13 years due to head trauma and finally passing away. I was genuinely being sympathetic. He came back on here ,publicly, saying someone had contacted him privately and told him to quit bitching and whining. I said NO such thing. I wanted to let him know someone else was in his boat. Hand was slapped. No longer extended.

Patrick's a good dude, and I think we have all tried to console him at one time or another over his trials in life. He's a tough Irishman living in Dublin, he'll be back.
